In Response to an article on the NRA Titled..NRA's LaPierre slams media over Martin coverage http://www.politico.com/blogs/media/2012...20528.html.. This was lest in the Comment section...The NRA are murderers. They are one of the biggest lobbyist, if not the biggest, and they promote these bills and other pro-gun legislation that result in guns on the streets, on college campuses, etc. that cause deaths. Someone needs to count just how many deaths by guns were committed in the last month and put it on all the media. (Rachel Maddow did it last night.) These gun lovers are fanatics and they don't seem to care how many innocent people, children included, are killed each day, week, month, year. All the NRA is concerned with is how many guns they can get out there. The USA has the highest number of gun murders than any other major industrial country. That is not something to be proud of. Vote out your pro-gun congressman!.... I can not believe there are people this fooled in the US...

it's just a vein of thought that is ahead of it's time. if you can't imagine and do not desire a world without guns you are part of the problem.

Doctors kill more people than guns do. Cars kill more people than guns do. I don't hear any of these morons calling for getting rid of doctors and cars. Just guns despite the clear evidence that they are not as dangerous as so many other ways to die.

car accidents and deaths due to doctor f*ck ups are not homicides. homicide is the issue not the instrument being used. guns make murder 100xs more possible. hand guns are made for killing people...they have no other purpose.

I wouldn't go so far as to call them murderers but correct. SYG is NRA written lobbyied legislation that PROMOTES an old west shoot first mentality. I do not think guns should be illegal but I do think people need to have a healthy respect for something that could take life.

They want anarchy legalized IMO.

I often wonder about tools like this person's reply. Imagine that this guy or gal hears a noise in the middle of the night. They are awoken by a noise and they know instantly what it was. someone broke the window on the back door. They then hear the door creak open, and footsteps on the broken glass. The cell phone is on the other side of the room, their baby is asleep in the room next to theirs. They are petrified with fear. They know if they get out of bed that whoever just broke in will hear them. Can you imagine how scarey that would be? I would be willing to bet at that moment they would wish to God that they had a gun next to the bed.

I tell people it's like this. Why do you wear a seatbelt in a car? In case you are in an accident, you don't plan on getting in an accident and most likely will arrive at your destination safely. But what if you did not have your sealtbelt on and a car crosses the center line headed straight for you, you can't get out of the way, you can't stop. Your going to get hit. At that split second you wish to God you had your belt on, but it's too late.

That's why I carry, it's my sealtbelt. Just in case.

And if you don't like guns, you don't have to own them. But leave me and my right to own them the f*ck alone.

But then again, the stupid don't know they are stupid.
