You can always cast out the nine when adding the numbers, dont worry about the true sum, add numbers until it becomes one digit.

They also add the dates, and they do not count the year, and if they do, its only the last two digits.

I.e. june 6 2012, if you add all the numbers including the first two digits of the year, you get "8"

They do not always use the first two digits of the year because they do not change, and that would ruin their little obsessive compulsive need to add the numbers into something that is significant to them. but you can still see if the numbers have meaning, you learn their meaning thru explorations of their actions on these numbers.

june 6 2012 would = 668 which would then add up to 20, which can also be known as 11, or 2.

not counting the first 2 digits it would be 666. 666 adds to 18, which = 9
