I didn't do something about it, yet.
But I did spend the entire week away from the day to day bullshit of life and work (for the most part, duty calls in emergencies at times) and spent time up north at our land doing some scouting and marking locations to set some stands. Fed myself on fish, squirrel, rabbit and grouse I took while burning my time fishing and hunting.

Think after this weekend is up (I have the kiddo again) I may say f*ck it to working again and spend next week up north again and then do something about it. Sure was nice getting away from it all though.

Welcome to the "real" world.

But the longer you stay, the harder it is to return to the "unwinnable race"

Cheers

That it is, I had four hours on the road to think about how shitty it's going to be to return to my current normal day to day life. If only the shit would splatter the fan big time so it would be warranted to pack it in and pickup the kid (and the ex, can't leave the boy's mom behind) and head on up and enjoy a post collapse world chuckle

Just face it Mike, ya can't beat Vicious.

Ive known her for years and she only gets better at it.
