(Sorry about the advice thread. I know there's been a lot of them.)

Been in a relationship for nearly 10 years. Beginning was spicy as most beginnings are, but it quickly faded. Kids and marriage came into the picture in less than a year. My partner is my best friend in the world. So what's the problem? I have no sexual desire whatsoever to my partner. I don't know if it can be blamed on the regular lies on both our parts through the relationship, but we've both done our best. My partner is completely head over heels in love with me still, but I don't feel the same. I've been trying to get it back all this time. Is it worth staying just to keep everyone in their comfortable place? Or is the passion worth searching for?

Just divorce and turn it into a big dispute over who gets what while making it rough on the children. If you're the woman, do all you can to f*ck over the man. If you're the man, do all you can to express your hatred for how all women just f*ck men over blah blah blah. Do it, it's the American way now - divorce is cool, everybody is doing it. It's fast and easy and solves all your problems.

Seriously though, you both haven't done your best as you claim to have if the love and/or sexual desire was there and isn't any longer. You have the option to work hard (which is what marriage entails) or take the easy road and support the divorce industry like most American's do when marriage is difficult.

No, I'm saying sometimes it is possible, and just think about this, you might need to step out to see what you really have. There are tons of people who are bad at sex. So you might miss the good sex and that one time out, might reinvigorate your sex life with your spouse. If you don't want to "cheat", have a threesome. Or break up and maybe ruin a good marriage over the 10 year itch.
