You need to read that very carefully, it tells you the earth was without form and void, just like in the beginning.

There were cities before, which helps explains why some ruins are well older than the biblical accounts of 6000 years can't explain.

When reading the bible, did anyone notice the angels were building megalithic structures when prophets visited heaven?

Or, how does it know that the Pleiades are bound together with gravity where as Orion isn't?

If you devote your purpose to just doing good and stand with the unconditional love and inexhaustible good will of God, you will find the creator. But life is a test and it is harder for the people to do good than it is to do evil, that's why things don't seem fair. In the big picture, however, if are accomplishments were easy than they wouldn't be as important and if our failings weren't fair than we couldn't be sure to trust that we had failed. Success is hard and failure is fair, by design. There are many people who will try to tell you how terrible God is or that God doesn't even exist, but these people are just angry that they do not possess the creator's power because they have a different agenda for us. However, the power is not with them. They will become undone FAIRLY if they do not change and accept the authority God establishes. And we advance as we make progress against each challenge. Change your thinking and start asking "what can we do together?" to figure out what you can give to the cause. The choice to work selflessly together will bring more light your direction and help you find God, but the most stubborn selfish who refuse to put any cause above themselves endure their own plight, fair and square. Once we realize what God is and stop trying to make him be something else then we are able to find God, but it is up to the strength of our own free will if we will do what is asked.

That is all just theory. God left us a long time ago now that money has replaced love and true merit. Now that people, are more and more connected to their stupid technologies, disconnected from each other and mother Earth, have replaced love and merit with money "god" is pretty much null and void, and is a commodity of this unjust socioeconomic system.
