What can be more foolish than to think that all this rare fabric of heaven and earth could come by chance, when all the skill of art is not able to make an oyster!

But I don't think he was your Cain. Just a man.
maybe so, but it is exciting to realize that it could very well be him.
It's been a long time since I read it, but they speculated that he was traveling between human communities through the mountains. He had quite a bag of supplies for the trip. The injury he sustained slowed him down, and weakened him and the storm stopped him.
I think Iceman had a bronze aged hatchet or axe, and some kind of animal bladder that he used as a cantine.
if he had a bronze axe that could make sense too, cain had sons, he had tubal cain and jubal cain, they were makers of music and metal crafts. according to the bible. His axe could have been a gift from his son.

well, who knows, back in the day before his skin became discolored a mark on his skin would be highly visible. He appears to be caucasian in the drawing.

Just out of interest what is your understanding of scientific dating methods? Maybe if they are provably incorrect you should rethink your stance on the "iceman". He may only be 500years old!
PEOPLE who ask about carbon-14 (14C) dating usually want to
know about the radiometric1 dating methods that are claimed to
give millions and billions of years— carbon dating can only give
thousands of years. People wonder how millions of years could be
squeezed into the biblical account of history.

What exactly does the "Earth became void" mean to you?
And the earth became formless and void." The Hebrew word translated "was formless" in English versions of the Bible is "tohu-va-bohu" a verb which means, "to lay waste, or totally destroyed". (Genesis 1:2)

You choose what scientific evidence to believe, and ignore the facts that don't fit in to your views. The logic of this escapes me.
Confirmation bias (also called confirmatory bias, myside bias or verification bias) is a tendency of people to favor information that confirms their beliefs or hypotheses. People display this bias when they gather or remember information selectively, or when they interpret it in a biased way. The effect is stronger for emotionally charged issues and for deeply entrenched beliefs.

yes, the same way that some scientists will not believe that the earth is not billions of years old, even when the evidence sometimes runs counter to their beliefs and suppositions.
