LOS ANGELES — Veteran actor Ernest Borgnine, the star of dozens of films and TV shows who won an Oscar for his portrayal of a shy butcher in love in “Marty,” died Sunday, his manager said. He was 95.

“It’s a very sad day. The industry has lost someone great, the caliber of which we will never see again. A true icon,” the manager, Lynda Bensky said in an email to AFP.

“But more importantly the world has lost a sage and loving man who taught us all how to ‘grow young’. His infectious smile and chuckle made the world a happier place.”

Bensky said the actor died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, with his family at his side.

well i specifically remember hearing he died LONG AGO, it made me very HAPPY!

something about him has always rubbed me the wrong way.i hate everything about him including his voice and especially his FACE.

they switched it years ago, they did it SOMEHOW, on a large scale.i was wide awake and looking out of the window instead of my pc screen, daydreaming when i felt it.i cant describe it, other than it was far reaching, vast.and fast, like a blink.i didnt even know they could do that back then, but i believe now.
there has been a second smaller one, a shift a couple of years later, but it was so fast and barely felt.it was smaller.

then there was a third time when i was standing at the end of my bed.i felt something like a time shift and this time i asked OUT LOUD what was that i just felt?
it may have made a sound, but i instantly heard the words PHASE SHIFT.
im still not sure what that means, i looked it up later and it had something to do with radios among other mundane things.
i still dont know what a phase shift is and why it was used.

i dotn care if yall think im crazy.i posted of this long ago in another forum.

yes, well Meat Loaf died of a Heart attack on stage back in the 70's but they brought him back.

Well, I don't remember ever participating in a 'time-line' discussion before, but glad to know I've been inducted into the club, I guess.

What puzzles me is, if it is a waste of time, then why the hell do you waste YOUR time posting about it? You're not too good at it anyway if you think I'm one of those LOP'ers who post about it a lot.

Jeez, move on. Maybe the 'post your weight and height thread', or 'bald people are evil and dangerous' thread is more your speed. More worthy of your time, perhaps.

I can wrap my mind around the concept of time-lines and other dimensions. Sorry you can't.
