At one point in my long life I lived in a dry county in Arkansas. While I didn't drink and was not affected by the no alcohol rule, it bothered me a lot knowing that my neighbors regularly traveled to the next county to buy their beer and liquor. I also knew that hundreds of other residents in the dry county did the same. That meant that at least a six pack was consumed on the way home. How many alcohol related car wrecks did that stupid law create?

No stupid law is going to stop someone intent on owning a gun from getting that gun. It just means driving a bit further from home to get it. Or else a new entrepreneur opportunity will be created. Black Market Gun Sales R Us

I use to live in Chicago and I can tell you they are hard core on guns, I got put in the pokie once for putting my shot guns in my car for a hunting trip, however when I went to court I got them back and the officers got yelled at by the judge.

But something really chaps my ass, when people talk bad about Chicago saying all kinds of bullshit like corruption bla bla bla. Chicago is a great town, very diverse and rich in culture. I moved from Chicago about 200 miles to a remote rural area and its about 95% republican here, and I can tell you corruption in here as well, just well concealed from the public eye, Chicago is just out in the open.

For all you idiots who think that Chicago is corrupt and their town or city isn't you are in wonderland!! Its in small and big cities alike.

My town I live in now was a "dry town" also, dumb! You can have a gun but no dam beer??? WTF retards! Old ass seniors still think its prohibition! You know your in stupid land when the best class in school is AG.
