RE: If you think we don't have the tech for BLUE BEAM.
you guys miss a point here:
the biggest problem of a hologram is that it can be disproven by a simple rock throw.....

they cant stage an alien invasion with a hologram...cause every cloud would be a huge problem.

Ground forces without mass arent that great either...and really good special effects need a huge amount of preparation.

The only thing i know will work is makeing CGi youtube films and and newsbits, place it somewhere you can control and cut the communication to that place.

Aliens attack detroit, city devastated on the news , city devastated by a small nuke n reality, no one will find out if he pics are controled

Great Deceptions require that many points are missed.

Part of the deception.

The simple truth is that a lot of people want to believe. The rest will be killed.

Yeah, the fact that those fly over my house from time to time isn't comforting.

The fact that drones are coming to my sky isn't comforting.

yeah, after that helicopter video IDK, WTF do you do against that?

I wonder if we will see a day when drone bombs are dropped domestically in the name of security.

No doubt in my mind that the more complicated it is, the more susceptible it is to be destroyed.

The weakest link is the electronics, Granted that military grade electronics are supposed to be hardened, but that's just a case of using a bigger 'hammer' - so to speak... More energy.

A directional EMP machine would be the great equalizer. Portable if possible. Imagine aiming a powerful EMP at (say) a heli, then it goes out of control and crashes. The stuff which will continue to work is the old stuff without microprocessors ... switches with contacts instead of electronic switches.

I work with machines and electronics and it's the electronics which are the biggest problem. The older stuff can go on forever and get knocked about, but not the new stuff. A 'machine's' working components are usually fine - like the motors, the relays and the connecting parts, but the sensors and the processors often break down render stuff unusable... unless you bridge-out the electronic controls and do it manually or with robust relays etc.

When your home appliances break, if it isn't a simple motor bearing, then it's probably a sensor which has wandered out of spec.

When your power windows stopped working in the past it was either a relay, a fuse, the brushes or a connection got broken. These days it'll be a pc board that's got a fault on it. Modern electronics are so easy to break.

I was thinking about drones just today. I thought of filling some shells with fine net or fine cable so that when it is fired and gets in a rotor the drone'll come tumbling down.

The power lines can easily be destroyed with a length of aluminium foil ... lengths of foil - or wire can be trailed behind a RC plane and released on lines - or hoisted above by balloon which you can burst when it is in the right general area where it should short the HT wires. Without those HT lines working, the cellphone towers won't have much backup time - if any.
