Pretending that you don't need to fear or you will achieve some state where you will never fear again is a delusion enjoyed by people that have very few day to day real fears. We have a lot of time on our hands in a modern society to worry about things that might happen or will happen in the future with a perceived negative outcome. Fear consists primarily of useless mind activity taken up by the same old tired thoughts you think over and over. You mind can not distinguish between an immediate real threat and an imagined one. You can not take action with an imagined thought that occurs in the future, you can only take action in the present moment.
How I see it:
“The world doesn't belong to us, we belong to it. Always have, always will. We belong to the world. We belong to the community of life on this planet--it doesn't belong to us. We got confused about that, now it's time to set the record straight”
― Daniel Quinn
“All paths lie together in the hand of god like a web endlessly woven, and yours and mine are no greater or less than the beetle's or the squirrel's or the sparrow's. All are held together.”
― Daniel Quinn
NICE! Yes especially the first quote, though the second is very important to keep in mind so that we are always humble.
Do not mistake humility for meekness and kindness for weakness though, I assure you they are more powerful than any can imagine.

If the people quit fearing each other and band as a community and have faith that all will work if they stick together, they would be unstoppable. They wouldn't even care if the economy collapses. I think they know this. They are not quite as inundated with corporatist culture like America is, they already live much closer to the earth than we do.
If you can detach from the obsession over convenience and "modernity" you will lose nothing at all by such a collapse. That's why they want to make sure they thoroughly own our asses through debt before they let the bottom out. That is why the economy has been propped up since 2007. They were not prepared for our resilience.

Fear negates Trust.
Trust negates fear.
How will you choose to live? In fear and mistrust? What will that accomplish? Aside from what it already has....and that's the world we are living in right now.

Not a clue, the number of conspiracies are countless, that is why I try to focus on the body (root) of this multi-headed hydra. You cut off one head and two more take it's place.
Usually if I feel I am ignorant of an important CT topic the LOP community might know of I just go right out and start a thread asking. But I don't fear being perceived as this or that so that works for me. IDK what your reservations might be.

As long as we exist in the physical world there will be suffering, always has been and always will be. Look at the history of the world, countless bloody wars, plagues, natural disasters. Nothing has changed. The people in Europe are suffering right now and will continue to suffer in this economic collapse and believe me, they care.
They will band together but it will be out of survival not out of magical thinking. The Great Depression did happen and people did suffer. Whether it is economic collapse, war or disaster, it is all part of the human condition. We experience both the good and the bad in this world. Their is no light without the dark. You can either experience it consciously with great attention or you can make it unconscious by running away from it or pretending that some miracle will make it go away. This world is here to make you conscious, to wake you up, not to tell you a nice story that will put you to sleep.

I once shared such bleak views, but I have rejected this as part of their fear programming. It is extremely effective and tough to break. I agree there will always be suffering in this existence. Unfortunately there are times when suffering is needed to push folks to change.
But we CAN totally end unnecessary suffering. Now you may see that as a slippery slope but I really don't. No one needs to starve to death in the times of modern agriculture. Hydro and aero ponics are hugely efficient to grow a huge amount of food in a small space in a much quicker timeframe and produces much healthier produce. People don't need to suffer from lack of clean water, there are umpteen ways to clean and collect water that aren't costly.
But as far as waking up, it's up to you what kind of world you want to wake to up to. It can be bleak or it can be paradise. As KRS-ONE said:

I am not here to give you some fluffy woowoo story to "bliss" you out to the point of total detachment from reality. I am here to to tell you there is always more than one way to skin a cat so to speak, and when God closes the door and boards up the windows, you grab the tv and smash that f*cker open and jump out of the burning building the globalists set on fire when they found out you would not comply.
And honestly, what is the worst thing that could happen if you try to be positive about the NWO shit going down that most fringe lunatics view as inevitable? Really, honestly, what have you got to lose? We are all going to die either way. We can do it striving to be happy despite the obstacles set in front of us, or we can just solemnly spend our whole lives digging our graves. Well f*ck that my ass is getting cremated and thrown to the wind to soar in the sky right next to my soul. How are you going out of this b*tch?

RE: Intention, Attraction and How Fear is ACTUALLY Used
Sorry y'all, got a little passionate in the heat of the moment and almost started leaning on the negative side. No worries, I am zen again my bredrin, let us revel in the joy of powers of thought and positivity. Let us bask in God's love, every one of us! Not the fake deities of man-made control structures called organized religion, but the real god. The one that can make you cry through joy instead of sadness. The one that speaks to you by giving you remorse and guilt when you have caused another life-form pain, and hugs you and tells you it's alright when you are ready to forgive yourself. The one that let's you fall in love, with life, with people, with a partner, with children, with family, with joy. THAT is the REAL God, and THAT God will never shun you for your trying your best. EVER. Much love bredrin and sistren.
Be yourself. Find Yourself. Find Peace. Find God. Be in joy. Share your joy. Spread it joyfully!

This debate always leaves out the role of the economy, and energy. It takes a huge amount of fossil fuel energy to grow and deliver food to a large nation such as the US. Farmers account for 1% of the population, so it would be impossible to split up large scale farming production into small community groups especially where the land is non arable. Also you would not be able to distribute water efficiently to small scattered growing operations without enormous cost and energy. Realize that small scale communities do not operate in a vacuum, there is always a connection to the larger world.
Destruction and decay as well as growth and renewal are parts of this world and are constant. When has it ever been not so? Nothing here lasts so why not realize it and embrace it. You won't get to where you need to go by pretending that it will all work out, that some sort of utopia will arrive, that somehow you will escape, go to heaven etc. Your life does not need to work out, nobody's life ever works out, or is at total peace and harmony. That's just the way the universe works, it is as it is.

That's just the way the universe works, it is as it is.
But that is your interpretation, and maybe that is my lack of clarity on specific details. I never said everything was going to be an instant utopian paradise because everyone puts a smile on their face while they drudge to work at the grind factory daily. If that is what you take from this then it's no wonder you have a bleak world view.
I guess instant gratification has been a big factor in manipulating our society. People think that if they don't get instant results that it whatever their endeavor isn't going anywhere, or is going the wrong direction. And there are always ALWAYS huge, astronomical factors that are out of our individual hands. The sun could explode, the universe could collapse into a singularity, any of a bajilion doom scenarios could invalidate everything you lived your whole life for. So does that mean you shouldn't endeavor in the labors of love just because it might all be for naught? What is the point of living at all then.
That's my whole point, I am not talking about escapism through detachment as many positive thinkers and motivators seem to profess. I am talking about digging you heels and giving your damndest despite the odds. Because a lot of times the odds really are all about perceptions. My life has totally turned around ever since I decided to ignore my perceived odds and just say f*ck it and try the things I aspired to achieve. And I have been surprised and amazed over and over at the places I have succeeded where I thought I would fail. Mind over matter. Always.
Maybe it's just the American get rich culture that ingrains people to be so negative because there are so many scam artists. But this is the birdseye of what I see as the process of endeavoring the labors of love:
1. First you have to envision the goal or desire. Now here is something the Secret doesn't tell you. You need to understand about the goal a bit, so that you can recognize achievment when it doesn't look the same as what you expected.
You have to understand the underlying aspects of the goal and get to the true nature of what you want and why. So you don't just imagine having a million bucks in a sports car with a model in the passenger seat. There is no substance to it, that is merely a side-effect of achieving the real goal, which would be financial independence. Because nobody EVER got rich working for someone, so in order to realize that part of the dream, you have to understand that your real goal is to work for yourself and be empowered by your personal success.
I just a read a story about a surfer guy who bootstrapped his own company from the ground up BY HIMSELF out of his VW Bus and is now a millionare. Because he had a vision of a waterproof camera he could mount to his surfboard. He was doing what he loved and he took it to the next highest expression of that dream. He was willing to say "man it would be nice if I had this. Wait, I should make these and be a success!" And by gum he did!
2. Once you have a better understanding of what your goal actually is (and that you are sure it is motivated out of love not fear), then the next step is to figure out how you are going to get there. And if no one else has ever tried to get where you want to go, how will you figure it out?
Failure, over and over failure. You have to be willing to fail again and again and not be deterred. Because as you try and fail, your understanding of the goal evolves, and you will make connections and gain further knowledge and eventually the path will be revealed to you by the trail you have beaten. But if you are not there yet you will look back see where you have gone, but looking forward, you may still see obstacles. But if you can see the obstacles between you and your goal, then you have achieved a big step. You found the way.
3. So, now you understand all aspects of your goal, now you have failed repeatedly and learned much, and now you are on the homestretch. Now you can concentrate on the final (and true) obstacles keeping you from realizing that goal/dream. You may still endure failures, but now you finally know what it is you have to conquer to succeed. Most of the early stages are about dispelling misconceptions and illusions. The final phase does two things, it allows you to reflect on if you really truly still want this vision after all you have been through, and if the answer is yes, it should reveal why the goal is valuable to you to achieve, and that may also make you decide to change your goals.
This has happened to me in life, in both careers and relationships, and I am VERY thankful for it as otherwise I would have to consign to a life of drudgery that so many do, working a job a hate with a partner I loathe. That is the real reason divorce rates are so high, because the people getting into them really didn't understand their relationship as deeply as they should have, and when they finally do figure it out they will start either harboring checked resentment, or just get divorced. And the gov doesn't care. It's great business for them with all the fees from marry-divorce-remarrry cycle. And the lawyers especially make out when the two can't agree on terms of separation. Division of the people is highly profitable in all ways. It is up to us to thwart them by coming together, as they have it in their mind we will always be at odds with each other. I am doing my part to make this an arrogant assumption that will be their downfall.
And finally, since you like to dismiss my thread content as glib utopianism with no foot in reality, let me now let you taste of your own medicine. The real truth is that you are operating your whole life out of fear, you reek of it. In fact, you are so afraid that you are actually afraid to succeed. Yes you are, or you wouldn't be trying so hard to counter everything I say.
It's OK, I don't respect you any less for it, neither does God. Other people might, but judgmental people are not important anyways. You have to break the programming. Look into your own heart see that you are afraid to fail, but even worse, you are terrified to succeed. So instead you blame all the problems of the world that really have no direct bearing on what you decide to do, and chalk that up as the reason you never accomplished your wildest dreams.
You can pretend that you take personal responsibility, and that might be true about some things in your life. But every time I say what will it hurt to try it's "oh well the economy, oh well crowds of people have a mob mentality so cooperation will never work". How can you say that? You never even gave people a chance. You have to give yourself a chance first (and a second third fourth into infinity) and you also have to give other people a chance, even if it means possible failure or rejection.
I am not going to bother typing anymore on this argument because you will probably write this off or not even read it, but I can't help you, only I can help you help yourself so I know the point is moot. But I do appreciate you challenging my point as it gave me a great idea on what to clarify and add to this thread. This thread is for everyone, and if you decide to have a change of heart, you will find it is for you as well. Best of luck and my blessings to you and everyone!
