It is said that whenever a group of individuals unite for a common purpose or goal, an Egregore is created. Formed of the very thoughts and motivations of the group, the Egregore is the personification of the group as an individual, organic, heirarchal body. In its earlier stages of ‘life’, the Egregore is under strict supervision by its parent or parents and it is limited in the ways it can interact with the real world, it is typically confined to the purpose of providing for a common need: defense, justice, food, education, etc. But what happens when this entity becomes too independent to be controlled? Can it become more powerful than those who created it? What are the forces which motivate it? Are they predictable?

I will be launching a new blog which will be dedicated to studying of the nature and origins as well as how to protect yourself from the influence of these dangerous, semi-conscious entities...

Egregore (also egregor) is an occult concept representing a "thoughtform" or "collective group mind", an autonomous psychic entity made up of, and influencing, the thoughts of a group of people.

I've been steeping in our collective cultural experiences (throughout 'time') for moments over several days. The days-in deserts, caves, forests; shores - in contrast to the present. While the whirling Dervish earth pirouettes 'round the sun. There was and is a richness and a void? A space sated by...?

Just last evening I'd gone still - sensing the limitlessness and limitations @ the OutPost (in the context of tribal culture, primarily).

There is absolutely no reason to mystify the operation of collective mind chartered toward a specific intent and purpose.

In fact you do a disservice if you do so.

Do not veil egregore. Show its history. Show how religions are egregore.

Show how they have evolved. Show how they operate in the secular world as corporations.

By that logic, Christ would be an "egregore" -- and a very powerful one as Christianity is the largest religion on the planet and "Jesus" or "Isa" is acknowledged as a "messiah" in Islam as well.

Two billion or more people with a very special connection to this meme.

So, "Jesus" would necessarily be a sort of "group soul".
