Does coconut oil still have all its benefits for the body if it is used to grill sandwiches, and the sandwiches turn a bit brown?

Extra virgen coconut oil does not become a trans fatty acid when heated, unlike olive oil. For this reason, you can can sunbathe in it if you want. Damned shame it's so expensive. It cost about US$15 for less than half a litre here. Tissue

yes....coconut oil can resist high temperatures and still be healthy....

because it`s molecular structure is more like a fat than an oil....

Add pepperoni to the grilled cheese to make up for the lost fat with the coconut oil.

If you go to Indian grocery stores, you can find coconut oil for less money. (the dot Indian, not the feather Indian).

I believe the reference you're trying to make is "Slurpee" Indian not a "Casino"Indian.

heck yeah use it on grilled cheese!tastes so much better than butter.

this stuff is SO good for us we can use it inside and outside of our bodies.
in every orifice.even our eyes.it doesnt burn at all.

personally i dont find it slippery enough to use as a personal lube but some people use it.

the only thing i can see about coconut oil that can hurt us is possibly drowning in it.

too bad its so expensive.

and apparantly it can be used again and again if strained.
unlike every other oil, once heated they cannot be used again.
they go rancid quickly.
coconut oil can be strained and reused for up to a year.

Wow a year.
I use about 4-5 TABLESPOONS of coconut oil for my grilled cheese sandwiches. When the sandwich is cooked, I pour the remaining coconut oil in the pan onto the sandwich and let it soak in. It is really delicious.

for those who arent aware of how coconut oil behaves in its jar,
the outside temperature will affect how solid the oil gets.

when its warm outside the oil will be in liquid form.
when it gets colder, the oil will harden and turn white.
this is absolutely normal and does not mean U got a bad jar of oil.

Be careful here...
I used some in my bath water to help moisturize my skin...and it irritated Miss Kitty.
She didn't like it at all!
I had to take soap and water, and wash it off of her.
I'll never use it in bath water again....
I wouldn't recommend it for this type of use..because obviously, some, like me are sensitive to it.

Cooking your food creates something called, 'advanced glycation end' products, or AGE's. AGE, for one thing elevates your blood sugar. If you cook foods, it is best to cook them on low heat.

Two of the main things I do to control my type 2 diabetes naturally, is to take coconut oil and goji berries regularly. My A1c had been 7.5, the last time I had it checked it was 6.1.(that was with cheating a little).

If you are in a big city, try to move out. Chickens and goji berries. Look goji berries up. They are so nutricious, even my cats like them. It must be the 18 amino acids.
