Well it's always amazing to me that the loudmouth atheists seem to find Christ the absolutely most offensive person ever. This despite the fact that you have a major religion, islam, that teaches the atheist should be killed, and various weird cults that believe the aliens are out to get you or that you should worship a sinful self aggrandizing cult leader.

Yet somehow the one man who taught us to love our neighbor, love our enemies and to care for the downtrodden, this man is the real threat to their existence. I have no choice but to conclude that Christ is very real indeed, since he elicits such a strong response in those who claim to not believe in him.

That response must have a supernatural source, (from the dark side). There is no other explanation. If I did preach Santa Claus instead, the vitriol would vanish I assure you.

I am not religious but why this animosity towards Christians? It is not the defining thing in our modern time that is making a better world impossible.

You could better keep focus on the banks, especially Goldman Sachs and Morgan. They truly try to have people sell their souls for short term gain. And they are the biggest obstacle to world stability.

Please, let's see some evidence here. Because from my own surveys of threads, it's the unbelievers who are insulting and otherwise offensive, calling believers "religitards" and "Godtards", etc. And if such people feel judged by what they read in scriptures, it's not the person who quoted the scripture, or even the scripture that judges them. It's their own hearts, their own consciences that do so. The scriptures weren't given to condemn, but to save (John 3:17).

Rarely and I mean it's EXTREMELY rare when any religious convert is willing to honestly and publicly consider that their belief system and the source of that belief system may be in error. And that goes for any belief anyone wishes to openly discuss.

Any honest discussion should begin with the publicly announced caveat that their position at least has the possibility of being in error.

Without that, all religious threads are bait threads and should be handled accordingly.
