If I read this correctly, this allows the government to take the property, finances, and other possessions of any United States person who the government has reason to believe is providing any kind of support to Iran or Syria.
Is this a test to see if the public will allow the government to start confiscating the property of US citizens?
property rights are absolute, not many people would rather die than be driven off their land
but i would
Not any longer. See the US Supreme Court decision on eminent domain Kelo v. City of New London, 545 U.S. 469 (2005).

' the beginning'?
Where have you been for the last few years? This would be more like 'the end', or at least 'somewhere in the middle'.

no you misunderstand, i know what they say, its just not what i know to be true,
i don't live in some brand new subdivision, the property i own now has the 5th generation of our family living in it,
so this earth is my family it is my legacy, my family built it with their bare hands,
the soil has the blood of my ancestors in it,
so thats why i would defend it with my life no matter what some government official says.
hope i cleared that up

Aha, gotcha. I know how you feel, our family has some property out in AZ that's been passed down, and we have kinfolk buried there. And I would defend it until I am physically unable to do so...

Homestead Act in Texas, I don't know about other places, is just a property tax deduction. You own it; you live on it; you get to deduct $10K off your property value for tax purposes. If you are 65 or over, you get to deduct $15K. Not sure what you are referring to.
All I know is there is plenty on the books right now, before what OP brought up, that if they can make a case for you funding or financially supporting terrorists (that includes narco-terrorism, ie., drugs), they can take your stuff.

The left/right paradigm is false. A control grid is being established prior to a manufactured "emergency". Both parties have sold us out.
We are one false-flag away from total fascism.

As an American, and a Veteran, I will say it's people like YOU who have their heads up their asses why this country is going to hell. Your either in denial or too stupid to live
The Government's most effective weapon is the mainstream media: more dangerous than standing armies, more deadlier than nuclear arsenals.

It will get passed! It is simply saying that if you assist Iran and/or Syria then you will prosecuted. They have just declared Iran and Syria as THE ENEMY just like Russia used to be. So if Russia or Chin helps Syria or Iran then they have approval from Congress to go to war with them or at the very least take away their toys!

RE: Is this the beginning of Obama's suspension of our rights?
Ah great. Here we go once again with something that either has been horrendously misinterpreted or deliberately so for the purpose of keeping up the so-called "NWO wants the rule the world and the Illuminati are behind it all!" nonsense for more bucks and to turn this country into a Communist one.
I like this actually. If anyone decides to send money over to Syria or Iran they get their things taken. Its perfect! Is it a dig at our personal liberties and eroding our rights? Nah. Its not a model for anything, written by the Illuminati for implementation by the NWO or anything of the such. People are reading way too much into this as usual.
This is only in place to prevent people from funding the terrorists and who think its cool to send money over there thinking it will be put to "good use". Now if there was only a way to shut down funding of all things involving Alex Jones and the rest of his ilk, then we would be a *free* country. Free from all the Communist whining and jockeying for position. All the requests for a so-called "re-investigation of 9/11" and the like. How about we get on with the business of being *free* and not really give a copulation up a fat frog's bottom concerning this little excellent piece of legislation which will help in shutting down supporting the terrorists of Iran and Syria, both of whom are more than likely superfans of Alex Jones and his ilk.
