Isis, Horus, Osiris myth
[Image: 2001.jpg]

ISIS (ESE)(Sirius)

the divine one, the only one, the greatest of the gods and goddesses, the queen of all gods, the female Ra, the female Horus, the eye of Ra, the crown of Ra-Heru, Sept, opener of the year, lady of the New Year, maker of the sunrise, lady of heaven, the light-giver of heaven, lady of the North Wind, queen of the earth, most mighty one, queen of the South and North, lady of the solid earth, lady of warmth and fire, benefactress of the Tuat, she who is greatly feared in the Tuat, the God-mother, the God-mother of Heru-ka-nekht, the mother of the Horus of gold, the lady of life, lady of green crops, the green goddess (Uatchet), lady of bread, lady of beer, lady of abundance, lady of joy and gladness, lady of love, the maker of kings, lady of the Great House, lady of the House of fire, the beautiful goddess, the lady of words of power, lady of the shuttle, daughter of Seb, daughter of Neb-er-tcher, the child of Nut, wife of Ra, wife of the lord of the abyss, wife of the lord of the Inundation, the creatrix of the Nile flood

OSIRIS()(Orion)

In the beginning, there was the mighty god Ra and his wife Nut. Nut was in love with the god Geb. When Ra found out about this union he was furious. In his rage, he forbid Nut to have children on any of the 360 days that currently made up the year. Nut was very sad.

She called on her friend, Thoth, to help her. He knew that Ra's curse must be fulfilled, but he had an idea. Thoth engaged the moon goddess, Silene, in a wager. At the time, Silene's light (the moon) rivaled the light of Ra (the sun). Thoth was victorious, he was rewarded with one seventh of Silene's light. This is why the moon now wanes each month. Thoth took this light and added five days to the calender, bringing the year from 360 days to 365. This gave Nut 5 days on which she could have children, while at the same time obeying Ra's commandment. On the first of these days, Nut gave birth to Osiris. On the second day Horus was born, Seth on the third, Isis the fourth, and Nephthys on the fifth day. At the time of Osiris' birth, a loud voice was heard all over the world, saying, "The lord of all the Earth is born."

I'm gonna' finish the one I posted first, but cool-thanks. I think this jazz really ties into the NWO, as the occult certainly does to a large extent (and mystery schools/religions are part of the greater 'occult' landscape).

I'm inb4'ing, too, before any crybaby calls foul on LoP's 'religion free weekend' rule.

what are myths really?

Myths are like fables...that tell a parallel story about something or SOMEONE that is significantly REAL.

What if you sensed or experienced something of spiritual significance, that was intangible yet you couldn't explain it using reference to anything around you in this world....

you would most likely make up characters in a story to tell YOUR spiritual story so it would make more sense to those around you.

but it doesn't make the message of the story any less significant.

and Humans have been doing this for eons.

I don't see that this runs afoul of the no religion ban in any way Shakey1 as no one is pushing this for or bashing this as a religion, it is a discussion exactly as you said, but that is not my call. I think this is a great thread!

I can look around the room from where I'm seated and see no fewer than twenty statues and other objects on an altar as well as framed and hanging papyrii in the room telling various parts of this story and others; one is almost identical to the one previously posted in this thread.

Perhaps some day I'll make a thread of it.

Thanks, court dude. I think it's an important element in the occult or New World Order conspiracy (the Horus, Osiris, Isis trinity). Religion (multiple religions), faith and other metaphysical matters touch on, or could arguably apply, to virtually every facet of conspiracy, and can be brought in to a discussion on multiple subjects outside of conspiracy as well. It makes it hard, from my perspective, to have a discussion on conspiracy when religion is utterly taboo.
Oh, well...if I could start a non-religious banning discussion forum, I would. And it would inevitably get overrun by fundamentalist shills, non-religionist or atheist trolls and Scripturephiles, I'm sure...

Well, for what it's worth, I believe in the 'thought-adjuster' concept from the Urantia Book.
