It's banned books week.
Someone once said you put a lid on old memories,
But some go in that jar gasping so hard they crumple the lid or crack open the sides and spill straight back out.

This week will you pick up a copy of Allen Ginsberg's "Howl" or perhaps Where the wild Things Are author Maurice Sendak's "In The Night Kitchen", Dr Seuss's "green eggs and ham"?

Perhaps the survivalists might enjoy better Desert and Eliezer Flores's "How to make disposable silencers (1984)"

And for the political junkies Adolf Hitler's "Mein Kampf (1925)"

Whatever your fancy, give literary censorship a thought this week.

I have been and still am a seeker, but I have ceased to question stars and books. I have begun to listen to the teachings my blood whispers to me: Hermann Hesse

If there be magic, let it be an art.

I buy banned books now and then even if I know I won't like the subject matter, just as a f*ck you to people who would want any piece of work banned regardless of how terrible it may be.

LOP censors? Was the information obtainable any place else? I think LOP just files it away for a time it's crucial and the information cant be found any place else. chuckle Think of it as your security chuckle
