The average for 5.0 quakes worldwide is 10 per day, if I'm not mistaken. Heard that somewhere.

devil RE: It's finally started!
What I'm saying is based on over 5 years religious devotion to observing USGS data only, I have noticed in the last few months an up tick in EQ's to the point today where there is a a 5+ every few hours.

The pattern used to be a build up before and after full and new moons now it is a continuos rumblings in the common ring of fire spots that were always covered by seismographs.

Now we have the Sun about to flip its maganetic poles 12 months early but the South pole is remaining singular and the north pole splitting in two!

It seems to point to incoming planetary body coming up from the south pole area of the solar system which is peturbing the Sun and all other planets in our solar system.

TPTB have undertaken a program of downgrade, misreport, non report etc. of any Earth change event that might spook the sheeple!

I also think that our solar system is binary, the binary companion would not need to be very close at perihelion to have an affect on the sun and other planets.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_cycle_24

NASA predicts that solar cycle 24 will peak in early or mid 2013 with about 59 sunspots. Therefore if the peak is next month then this would make the solar cycle one of the weakest solar cycle observed. If the peak is in May 2013 then this would make it the least active cycle in the past one hundred years.

On another note the method of counting sunspots has changed in recent years with sunspots being counted that would not have been observed in the past making it more difficult to compare one solar cycle with another, the link below gives a more accurate picture of the solar cycle -

An interesting subject really; and a good trick if you can do it.
