I just started reading a new book called "The Language Crystal".
8 chapters in and it's pretty good thus far....

Ill explain it this way everyone... The Jedi Code is for attaining mastery over yourself, as it is all about your inner workings..
the Sith code is about mastery over the physical world, both with half truths (more half - truths in jedi code as in my perception, it is talking about only you , yourself )
The Dark Side is just a truth people ignore once they figured the truths out of the light side...
You people who preach light and love... sure you are right to an extent, but you will never be "whole" if you do not embrace the Dark Side as well.

Of the Light there are Creators, Preservers and Destroyers.
Some Beings occupy all three roles at different times according to their appointed Stations by Higher Orders.

Are they both filled with half truths? Are they two different roads to the same path?
Most associate Sith as evil, esp how the movies portray them from the Jedi's point of view.
The sith code came after the Jedi Code, esp after realizing "There is no death, there is the Force."
What are LoP's opinions, and what path do you walk? I myself feel I started off with the Jedi Code, until I was deployed and saw some real world stuff.. Ive now embraced the Dark Side of the Force : D
(Also, If you see todays Pinned post about the theory our sun is dark underneath its light brings about an interesting new perspective to the dark side : )
George lucas destroyed star wars in return of the jedi because luke survived. Luke didn't bring balance to the force, he swung it in the other direction. No sith, no balance.
If you're pulling a "the force is real" message. Yeah...it is but it's not the same as in the movies. It doesn't mean you can start throwing rocks with your mind. Living things produce types of fields that some people can feel (others can't); it can be energy (new agey) or simple pheromones (science). You could use such a field to either help, hinder, or ignore such a being...if you can feel it. And...yes, people who can "read" other people and beings (animals, insects, etc) DO use that "ability" for both good (to help) and evil (to manipulate) means.
So...in summation. I've confused myself; Star wars is more real than it should be.
