It's also very possible that he never existed as you think. It's also extremely possible that anything you think about the subject is subjective, fairy tale - make-believe. Your guess is as good as mine.

And your existence is ...just what you described.

What makes more sense.... you or Christ?

You couldn't imagine the fairy tail he lives ...

How long will this faithless generation be with me.

Funny, I was wondering the same thing about the indoctrinated. Your dogmatic guess is as good as my non-dogmatic guess.

But who knows, maybe "he" will come slay all the heathens just for your pleasure?!

Here's the clincher ...

What will you do during your visitation?

If we are to believe what is written, that Christ is formed in our heats by faith. And faith cometh by hearing the word of God.Than the possibility exists that we through Him are Him....

For no man has the Father least he have the Son.

Believe....I live it

It saddens me,the lack of faith.

Not trying to cause a commotion, mostly I'm silent.

We have so much penitential and we choose to throw it away on a world that devours us.

And because we are that world, you can see what we as a people and a nation have chosen and what it has done to us.

You should pray to God that he grants you better vocabulary.

Cheep petty and unnecessary ...

May God grant you the wisdom to hold your peace as opposed to exposing your ignorance that you seem to feel is wit.

There is a great message in the hyssop mentioned in the documentary as it is a healing herb. Clearly, those giving him the healing herb were doing their best to help him so that he could live. Some types of vinegar are also consumed for healing purposes.

Buddhism was a philosophy that was spreading rapidly throughout the med and the Middle East. The Buddhist monks were traveling in every direction to spread the philosophy. Scholars Elmar R Gruber and Holger Kersten provide excellent research in the respect of the healers known as the Therapeutae from the Theravada School of Buddhism. Hence, the word modern day 'Therapy' to do with healing.

The bible makes it clear that he was called out of Egypt and we know that the therapeutae were in Egypt. Gruber and Holger make the claim that he was actually brought up by the Buddhist healers. Of course, at that time there was also the greatest philosophical, mathematical and scientific library in the world located in Alexandria in Egypt.

We also know that some of the words and teachings of the one known as Jesus are almost the same as the Buddha. Scholar, Martin Palmer also did a book about it.

In addition, they have found an amazing bust of him in the remains of a Greco-Buddhist city in current day Afghanistan. The bust of him that was found, also has the Buddhist top knot on his head. A sign that he was indeed a Buddhist. It is most likely that he was revived and then went to the Greco-Buddhist city where he would be safe after his mission in Israel was complete.

A friend told me recently that in the 70's he was traveling through those parts, and the tribesmen were still talking about the holy man that came to them from Israel.

In addition, the documentary mentions the Bene Israel. We know that around 2,000 years ago, a ship full of people left Israel. They were going to India. The story goes that there was a storm and only seven people arrived safely. Were they looking for him, were they trying to find him? Or were they simply returning to their ancient Indian roots from whence Abraham came?

Love beyond measure

Doubtful, he may have studied when young? How many Buddhists claim to be able to commune with God? Jesus claims God is in us as we are in him. That is if you follow "The Way". Hugs

didn't watch the video yet, but there has been much written about the "lost years" of Jesus (although you won't hear about it on the Christard threads)

much speculation suggesting that he did indeed travel to India and explored the theories of Buddhism.

read it and weep, Christards

Yeshua, apparently went to india (south I suppose where the "christians" reside)...I'm starting to believe this is not a myth. It's a bizarre story in my opinion but less bizarre than that pagan NT book.

Look you are splitting ass hairs here. You really think the Christ knowing the heart would hold one in contempt because they read a name that has changed through the years?

God and Jesus Christ know our hearts, all our hidden thoughts are known. It is how we treat each other with our hidden hearts and internal conversations that matters. Such as telling someone "hi happy to see you" but inside your saying "oh, not this time wasting, nosy pain in the ass." Both conversations are noted.

God's ways are not our ways. He is not a technical detail technical foul type of God, that is reserved for mankind in his absolute ignorance.
