Perhaps I have been alive too long.

Flying really did used to be fun. You could watch friend's planes come in, meet them at the gate. Now it's like going to a courthouse or something, except more invasive and pointless. And you get to pay for the privilage too.

I too remember when flying was fun.

I was just at the local courthouse this past week, and I can say that there was far less security at the courthouse than there is at the airport. All I had to do was walk through a metal detector - no backscatter x-ray, invasive questioning, or pat downs. And, the security guards at the courthouse actually smiled, were friendly, and helpful. Imagine that! TSA is much more invasive and pointless.

Why do you guys think Ron Paul is some kind of legitimate political Savior? He's An AGENDA WHORE. Yes, we're all f*cked in a sense, but it was gonna' happen anyway, right? This time is fulfilling a prophetic period foretold in religion and various cultures and seers from all different times. We have to die some time, and if it's any consolation, most or all of human history has sucked, just like today. We've had some good times, and bad, and now we're coming against a new chapter in experience here on earth. Hopefully, most of us will not behave like this life on earth is all that we should be concerning ourselves over. We'll have hard choices and unprecedented situations to confront, but we need not lose our souls in the process of this coming survival period.
