It's not apples and oranges, at all. Sociopaths dominate many professions and they kill in huge numbers without getting their hands dirty.

Just what kind of 'treatment' do you suppose these defected brains could get? Certainly not talk therapy. Maybe surgery?

No, very damn little is known about the brain. Conventional science hasn't even gone places like Rupert Sheldrake has (the brain is a receiver).

I saw a show with a girl who has such sever epilepsy that she seizures all day ans was completely incapacitated. Without knowing what would happen, they removed one entire hemisphere of her brain and she was totally fine! There's also a man who you can find out about on weird science sites who has, essentially, NO BRAIN - just the stem - and he functions, works, and leads a normal life. Neither of these stories should be true according to orthodox science and what is 'known' about the brain.

Sociopaths and psychopaths are Not all created equal. And it is a logic fallacy to evoke the name of "illuminati" personas into the discussion when doing so is an argument against conducting this kind of research. Furthermore, I will again disagree with the contention that we understand little of the brain because that assertion is simply not true. We do in fact understand a great deal. Do we understand all of it? No. Do we understand why some people can sustain great trauma and still function with reasonable success? No. But we do know, with some authority, that certain regions of the brain consistently, within the general population, affect specific behaviors.

There are always exceptions to any rule in science. There are many individuals who have confounded expectations such as persons who sustain traumatic brain injuries and manage not to become axe murderers. The book that was presented earlier about the young man who sustained a profound injury and used the experience to shed light on deviant behavior is an excellent example of how this research can be meaningful. He understood that his injury could affect his behavior and used that knowledge in a constructive way.

Yea, that's an ignorant study. Not buying it. There's just no lab or any other real science to support their findings. People have killed for a long time for various reasons. The criminal mind is godless, not as they claim mental defective.
