The idea of marriage is so wonderful. I look at my parents married a thousand lol years and they're still in love and have always treated each other with kindness and respect.

I truly think it's about the luck of finding the right person that meshes with you in a positive way, and we are mature enough to deal with the differences. If such a thing is possible.

To be honest I know both of my parents put up a LOT with their personality differences and just suck it up for the sake of peace for the greater good.
And they're both on a lot of meds in their old age. Coinkydink?

Still friends with my ex and my son's mother. My wife is friends with both of them. I know it's weird, but we're all comfortable with each other.

Better than fighting and backstabbing. My ex and my son's mom are both married to guys that I get along with very well. We've even been to a few Packers games together.

my divorce took 4 years to get over. Two of those year I was barely functional. I still miss marriage.

In my meetup profile, I have a statement like
"Looking for kinky sex & fun".

Twice now I've had my fricking profile,
which is designed to AVOID problems,
(I'm pretty upfront and they can just avoid me)
become a subject of controversy from
some f*cking old biddie or religious gay guy in denial,
and I quit those meetup groups.

People really are vile and petty too often
and contrary to FB craze, I've dialed down
my real relationships with people and organizations
to a very low level.
