**1N5URGENT**

Out of the 50 threads on the front page, about 20 were completely offtopic. I counted. I have noticed this trend in the past few years. I first visited in 2010.

LOP is becoming a close-knit community and culture of its own, which is fine, except nobody's getting anywhere. There's no truth, very little worthwhile discussion, and a lot of time wasted. It hardly looks like a conspiracy forum anymore. Just insults, sexual jokes, emoticons, and threads to get attention.

I am NOT proposing any kind of rules or censorship (we don't need a second ATS). I am proposing that LOP be divided into two parts. One for serious business, and one for offtopic. If someone puts an offtopic thread in the serious section, the mods can simply move it.

I vote no. That just starts a chain of multiple sub-forums which results in less activity.

I've seen it happen multiple times before.
