RE: Landmark Lawsuit Against the TBTFs
Just a quick FYI:

I had a phone conversation today with Spire Law Group and this lawsuit is legit and is nationwide - any person in any state who has been raped by the banks can join the lawsuit if they meet the qualifications.

Also, it's not a typical "class action" suit - unfortunately, I can't remember what he called it now, but they have at least five very serious charges against not just the banks, but all of their servicers, their off shore money laundering facilities and against the Obama administration for aiding and abetting (for lack of a better phrase).

This is also one of the law groups that was instrumental in prosecuting the savings and loan scandal. They are deadly serious about this.

If you've been raped by the banks, you need to get in touch with these guys. Here's their website:

It would be great if they also went after the banks for credit card fraud, too. Credit card contracts were sold just like the mortgage based securities. Again, a repeat of robo-signing and lack of chain of custody. No original signed in ink contract exists for the majority of credit cards.

Dial-up, the way the lawyer explained it to me, in very simple terms, was this: "Imagine I owed you $800 and I wrote you a check for $800. Then I made a copy of the check and gave you that, but didn't give you the original check. Would you try to cash the copy of the check? Do you think any bank would give you the money?"

He said this is what they've been doing (probably with credit cards too) and that they they have mountains of proof of illegal activity like this by the banks.

Sarah,
Thanks for the explanation. So in a nutshell, all activity of these banks has been fraudulent.
