The update is that Glory flew away.

We were a little upset, she didn't say goodbye, no "see ya later", she just flew away.

Both her parents are gone as well. I always knew when they were around because the other birds would squawk at them and chase them.

But it's been too quiet here Tissue

I have to assume she is safe and well and doing what young hawks do. Maybe her parents are staying near her and tending to her where ever she flies to.

My Spring of the hawks was a lasting memory I'll never forget.Heartflowers
Happy and sad, life and nature. I am happy I was able to save 2 of the 3 hawks, wish it could have been all 3, but I'm still happy for Glory and baby #3.

I have thought about the basket and I'm not ready to bring it down yet. I think I'm going to drill some holes in the bottom, paint it camouflaged to blend into the tree--just in case I ever need it again.
