A lot of people get diverted by the feeling of having some power and just want to impress people.

A lot of spiritual guides are not what they appear to be, my friend caught his out in lies and does not trust them and their intent. This is a bit of a conundrum as many people are taught how to do things and what the "Rules" are by their guides.
Every time I have confronted a guide they have fled, that is all the information I needed to know, and I am highly suspicious of their objectives.

I have zero experience with spiritual guides, and I'm skeptical. I think that's fair.

Indeed.
If one has knowledge beyond ordinary means, to what useful extent could they be relied upon? Especially if they would turn the fates and cause unanticipated results. Not every eventuality can be foreseen.

I can tell you a little about myself. I don't pry, so far as I know, I don't seek mindlessly, and I don't judge people based on which side they happen to be on along the spectrum. I consider myself to be able to find a balance, and I just happen to balance out my tender heartstrings by wandering through the dark waters, but only to then make light of those very same waters. I don't compromise myself whilst doing that, though it may seem that I do. Negative effects, perhaps there are some. But, I don't think I get close to my hell anymore. I can smell it sometimes, maybe even feel it on my neck, but it never feels bigger than I am. Do you know what I mean?

Yes, friends and brothers. So, I want you to see a more genuine me. Most people know how to be polite, I do as well if the situation requires. But, politeness also causes people to put on a good face in times of adversity or strife. To me, that's disingenuous. I wish to show people all of my faces, and also let people know that all of those faces can laugh a little at life. Its my way of letting those that can see inside, see inside. Others may butt heads with me, but I am their friend. If we but heads then there may just be an issue that comes out of it that can be discussed. Or we may find out that we butt heads because we share similar conviction, which is admirable. If just putting on a good face, I would never be able to relate to that part of a person. There wouldn't be that same level of respect.

Does that makes sense to you? Its okay if it does not. I don't know how well I'm able to explain myself. :)
