you just need a pole, a frame to hold it, a rope to spin it, and men or beasts to pull the rope. even your hands would work. add a harder material to the pole tip, and it will cut through. today, we do this type of thing with diamond chips/powder or manmade materials like silicon carbide, but other hard minerals could be mined, chipped, and used to bore those holes.

i'm more interested in what function those holes served. plumbing? cooling? just holding a pole for other archtectural purpose?

A Rotary Bit would cause Spiral Patterns along the length of the Bore hole from my experience. The Patterns you see in this bore hole of scrapping, possibly from the tool, whatever it was, look straight. So it looks like something possibly pushed its way straight through the rock. Which is even more astonishing. The side hole, which i wish we had gotten a better look at, looks like an access hole. Sometimes modern day creations have those so they can access the middle of the tube, or in engines it could be a oil drain, or just a moisture drain.

Humans have always been extremely ingenious always showing lots of ingenuity.

indeed. id like to add also that most of those stones arent regular stones most of us have in our yards. most of that work is diorite, which is extremely hard.

there are very few things you can cut diorite with. the easiest option being diamonds. ive actually read a lot on peru, and check this out pastor - todays technology does not even come close to being able to replicate that stone work, even with the most advanced cutting methods and computers we have today. this has been exhaustively fascinated over by many scientists. the peruvian arifacts are without a doubt absolute proof of an ancient civilization that was EVEN MORE ADVANCED than we are.

Awesome video. I would be curious to know if this "technology" was passed down? Say in a certain year, people were making these structures and making those cuts to the stone in a particular way with a particular method; they must have kept going with it, right? Maybe advancing it? When Apple makes an iPhone it keeps making more, and making each generation slightly better than the last (most of the time). They don't just have a great thing going and suddenly call it quits.

At what point did it all stop (the methods and building in this fashion), and how far back was that generation that the current people there today don't know about it, or how to do it (or anybody for that matter)? It seems to me that they were using this method to build, and it was an excellent method, and suddenly they stopped using it, and it was for whatever reason lost. What were they building in the years or decades after they made these structures? Did they go from precision stone cutting to mud houses? I'm curious about the timeline... Scratchinghead

No tools have been found in or around Cusco that could possibly have achieved this.

i think the latter part of what you stated is probably very likely. a cataclysm of some sort.... maybe a massive cme took out their power grids... meteor.. ice age... i believe something happened that shook their civilization to its very foundations and even though the peruvian pyramids and other even more intricate work are still there... and the rest of the pyramids worldwide keep in mind china has several hundred, even some in united states that are under grass cover... anyways something big happened and when there is huge cataclysm, typically it takes mankind as a species 70-80 years to get back a foothold again... the technology was lost. maybe records burned in a fire? dunno

maybe like indiana jones said... maybe them crystals are just more advanced hard drives than we have today? maybe the records are there but we dont know how to access them. maybe after shtf they didnt either

It makes sense to me that a cataclysm ground technology to a halt for our ancestors somewhere after they built all of that. Something really big happened, and naturally.... maybe .. say .... without their wireless power grid powered by their pyramids (tesla style sotrta) naturally when they gathered afterwards they started over again and could not continue fabricating massive diamond blades and jigs to cut huge slabs of stone. would be back to 'um lets build some houses and u go get some dinner we need to eat'
