There's lots of these types of drilled stones, only much much larger at Puma Punka near La Pax, Bolivia. Erich von Daniken and Zacharia Sitchen say they were used to refine gold, ie a smelter from over 15000 years ago. Legend says the site was made by aliens, overnight. Includes a huge pyramid too. Fantastic.

But somehow we still keep 'believing' that it's all hand made with primitive tools. But assuming they did it that way is easier for scientists than admitting they have no clue.

my question is.. After seeing that video, about the way some pyramid blocks, could have been cast, and after all that time be indistinguishable from limestone, I wonder if most/all of those 'curios' ancient structures have been cast.

Very easy to imagine a carefully carved wooden pole, making those holes, and pulled out when the thing had set enough to retain the shape.

That would expliain all the perfect fits too.

I believe people were as smart back then as we were, they couldnt have made computers, they didnt have the tools, they couldnt have even designed them, they didnt have the background yet.

but they could have been masters of cement making and casting.

There is a thread somewhere on this forum begun by a "time traveler" who said that on his Earth in the future, there were a lot of buildings left behind by previous builders, but that no people were ever found; that there was never any big pile of dead bodies anywhere.

That OP describes how his lifestyle was very basic, along the lines of "um lets build some houses and u go get some dinner we need to eat".

I didn't read the entire thread and don't really know how to find it. But, could the circumstances have been similar? A civilization that builds things and then the people just disappear?
