Loud Boom - Kansas City area
Just heard 2 of em within 10 minutes of each other. Neighbor was outside and felt the percussion/concussion of them. Sounded like a truck hit the side of my house

Hello neighbor. Didn't hear or feel anything here. We are supposed to have thunderstorms tonight but that shouldn't have shaken your house.

If society fell apart, we - the people would build a new one. Most people are good at their core, and when we see things that are wrong we work to fix them together. Make friends with your neighbors, get involved with your community - because we will rebuild our lives, our communities, from horrible circumstances we always will.

well I can say I have never heard anything quite like it in my life. No tin-ny sound - no transformer electrical sound, etc. Clouds in the area so I couldn't see the sky, but that was no thunder. Seriously, it shook the whole house. I went outside expecting to see a neighbor's house blown to bits or something that extreme.

There are plenty of underground caves under KC.... maybe something exploded underground? Which side of the city are you on?
