if there were armed patrols and armored personnel carriers with shoot on sight orders that would be one thing,
martial law is a long standing tradition in disaster zones that have become lawless hell holes, it is an attempt to salvage a semblance of civilized society

not that i relish a disaster that calls for that extreme decision but it is a standard call,
what does make it a concern for me is the training that the military receives,
they are used to enforcing martial law in war torn third world countries so there is a possibility for bad decisions and abuse
lets hope that doesn't happen
