It's Lazarus and the rich man:
Between 1/2 and 2/3 of the global population reportedly exist (can't quite call it "living") on less than $2 per day (Lazarus).
Meantime, 1/100 live on, what, $2 million a day or more? (the rich man)
The rich ONE has a very big doorstep on his mansion in this global community. There are billions of Lazarus's on it.
Ironically, the elitist 1% are the ones who have declared the world to be a single global community, which puts that community's poor on their doorstep, as their responsibility, as they are the only ones who have the ability to help them, but don't. This is the fulfillment of the prophecy contained in the parable up until the time when everything changed.

This is yet another sign of the times. The chasm between rich and poor has been growing wider and wider, with the number of rich becoming fewer and the number of poor becoming greater...
