I think I'm going to add the mortar just to cut off a little leak it has. I boiled water very fast. I only used a bit of dryer lint to start it and two sticks I found around the yard to get it to boil water. It burned for about an hour very hot. The bricks I got for 45 cents a piece. I also added some pebbles I had left over from making a few water filters around the base to make it level without digging. These are going to be the way to go when TSHTF IMO.

Yes there's a hole in the middle. The flame shoots up through it about 5 or 6 inches when it going really hot but usually hits the bottom of the pot like my gas stove does on high.

Crap! Now they are gonna outlaw bricks and pebbles chuckle

Just kidding, that is a very good idea. The materials are everywhere and easy to find also. I am gonna save those images for future reference and may try it myself. Would work great with just about any pan it looks like and larger versions could be used for excellent heat source also in the winter.

Thanks for that raisinbread!

That's a quick and easy rocket stove that everyone should be able to make. Thanks for the pics.

I plan to build the M2-B2 Rocket Stove as indicated.

Very nice raisinbread. The awesome thing about rocket stoves though is that you can pretty much make them out of anything. And they are very efficient, as you pointed out. Good shit.
