Poor guy. Talk about bad luck. BOTH drivers who hit him happened to be 23. Coincidence?

A 40 yr old New Jersey man pushing his broken SUV off the road was hit by two cars and died.

He was driving along Route 70 when his Toyota 4Runner stalled in the center lane at around 8:45 p.m. While trying to move the SUV onto the state highway's shoulder, he was struck by an Oldsmobile.

The force sent Cassano flying 30 feet toward the center of the road, but according to a witness report, Cassano got up and said he wasn't hurt. Then, after he dusted himself off, Cassano got hit by a second car -- a Toyota Yaris.

Cassano was pinned between the two vehicles that hit him and died at the scene

Doing ANYTHING outside of a stopped vehicle along a highway is literally one of the most life-threatening things I could imagine, short of maybe playing Russian Roulette with a loaded revolver.

The roads are just crawling with dumbfucks that will drive right into anything on or along the road and NEVER even see it. Witness all the You-Tube vids of Cop dash cam footage shoeing Officer Friendly getting creamed after stopping someone.

Maybe that falling bear that got splatted isn't along in being too stupid to get out of the damn road!

When I lived in new york I personally saved 2 people who got smacked around by cars; one girl talking on her cell phone literally got launched 20 feet in the air by a truck (nissan as I recall). 1 here in vegas as well. Those were all pedestrians.

My advice if you ever get in this situation: put your hazard lights on, get the f*ck out of the car, and wait for the tow truck and/or police on the shoulder. It is not easy to push and steer a car by yourself, especially with traffic coming at high way speeds. Which begs the question as to why this guy didn't coast onto the shoulder when the car powered down.

Highways are dangerous enough when you are in a car, much less when out of one.

Russian guy in GRAPHIC video below was hit while out of the car on highway. It looks really bad but fortunately he survived with a broken leg. The other guy jumped into the trunk just in time and was not injured.
