Meteor seen above the skies of UK
Reports from Scotland, England, and Wales on this one. Just my luck I had the curtains open at the time but my window faces W-SW so the thing must have gone literally right above my head heading east to west.

Holy shit I think this is what I saw this morning. I live in Cali but I was walking around at 4 AM this morning and saw a strange cluster of what looked to be stars to the east, but they were moving, I couldn't figure out what it was.

Seen 2 events like this in the past, but I always kick myself whenever I miss more substantial events. Reports of a loud 'boom' being heard some minutes after this footage, again nothing untoward heard/seen here.

Better visual images now coming out, and using triangulation it looks like the breakup was across the N.Yorks moor and taking it linearly out across Lancs and out towards Belfast. The fact not many reports of this across this 'linear range' suggests many people simply weren't looking directly overhead at the time.
