How is this kind of boar so different from the species of wild boar native to North America?
actually Dave first pigs came here with the white folks
but still agree my understanding is these pigs are raised to be hunted
my dad went and shot one in Mo. a few years back..tasty
so if contained proper I don't see the Issue...

I see you are right about Europeans introducing boars.
I could even believe the animals migh be destructive, but I do not believe these farmers are going to release their swine to the wild.
Yes, I am sure they are great game animals.
It's kinda not the point to me -- it is a zealous government out to microregulate our lives with the flimsiest of excuses.

Nobody seems to understand that this goes back to the Books of Enoch and Jasher. This piggy shoot is in perfect time for a Tammuz ritual.

RE: Michigan government unleashes armed raids on small pig farmers, forces farmer to shoo
sounds like we could get up some hunting parties and get some good eats and lots of boar coats. those things have good skins.
don't see a problem with farmers having them if they are contained -- course i live in texas and all kinds of animals are running around down here.
i live in a town in the Big Bend area, but you don't leave you animals out at night because the javelina might kill them, and in the winter it is still possible that a mountain lion might come into town to hunt or lie on top of a warm roof. foxes live in town, and i saw a bobcat in town a couple of times over the years. bear came in once from Mexico because of the drought, and some idiot who was not from Texas shot it. pissed everybody off cause it was a Mexican bear, and those are pretty small. we all knew it would leave eventually. idiot. pissed everyone off. some jerk from back east or something.
you just don't leave trash or food out. i have a big, big skunk that comes around every night. phew. and deer, always deer. big buck was coming in the yard almost every night.
lots of things come in if the drought gets bad enough. they drink up some water, eat anything left out, and then they feel better and they move on. wild animals don't like to be around people if they can help it.
there some wild boars down here, big suckers, but i don't think they are Russian.

they shouldn't release them ..
the hunts are in large fenced compounds
so like I said I see no problem if managed right
but if all goes to hell then , them getting loose
could at that point be a blessing food source wise...

THIS WHOLE INVASIVE SPECIES THING HAS E PUZZLED
ON THE ONE HAND, WE, HUMANS ARE BLAMED FOR EXTINCTION, WE ARE BAD
THEN WHEN A SPECIES THRIVES BECAUSE OF OUR ACTIONS, GUESS WHAT, WE ARE BAD.
IS IT SO DIFFICULT TO ACTUALLY USE NATURE TO LOOK AFTER ALL.
EXAMPLE
MANY AMERICAN FISH SPECIES ARE UNDER PRESSURE, SAY ALLIGATOR GAR.
WELL THEY ARE TOP PREDATORS AND NEED PREY.
SO HOW ABOUT BREEDING GAR AND SETTING THEM LOOSE TO EAT SAY SILVER LEAPING CARP, MASSIVE FOOD SOURCE FOR THEM.

How does boar meat differentiate from regular pork? A wild boar is nothing more than a pig gone feral.
There are quite a number of differnet animals that get lumped together under the name “wild boar.”
Some are feral domestic pigs. Some are actual European or Asian boar, which are quite different. And some are hybrids of the two.
I saw a nature show that tried to link wild American feral boars to Siberian boars. There was no conclusive evidence that they are closely related. The Siberian boar can weigh 750 lbs. They are monsters. Long coarse hair to survive the 5 ft. snows that occur there in the winter.. They are quite a prize for hunters.

When life serves you... siberian boars... make BLT's.

If they are looking for those wild pigs, then they are completely justified. Those things spread and invade like crazy when they get loose.
Maybe if they werent so anal with hunting regulations and seasons, nature would sort this out? How many BLT's would one of those fuckers make? Have you ever had a delicious BLT?
