Yea its a Huge geographical area and its also the Grain Belt of the U.S.I keep up with Monsontos info pretty well and it seems that the U.S. is the only country that doesn't take issue with there nature tampering GMO bullshit.

Peru just instituted a 10 year moratorium on Monsontos seeds being used or sold there.Cheer

That is because of the revolving door between the U.S. gov't and Monsanto. Amazing what money can do.

Corporate farming. Complete control of the food source. A complete controlled population. "He who controls the food source, controls the people". People who cant farm, grow their own food, cant complain much can they?

Sickening and infuriating.

Want to kill monsanto and the like? Better learn to garden (organic) and cut their proffits. The more people learning to provide for their own basic needs, the less money Monsanto gets for the unlabeled GMO crops sold in grocery stores at the lowest prices...

that would cost me a fortune - not to mention kill me in this heat

our soil is caliche - hard clay,, i would spend a fortune in water exrrra soil - have to have something built up off the ground
also time - and time is money

we still have a lot of farmers around here thank goodness

I grew up where we had huge gardens but the soil was rich and easy to till
we had beauitul gardens
and plenty of rain

now we have acid or hot rain? and droughts uugh
and water rationing ,, if not complied with FINES

I'd really like to know if it's this:

Would You Care for a Side of Agent Orange With Your Soy Burger?

By Meg White Posted by Jeffrey Joseph (about the submitter)

You've probably heard about Roundup Ready crops, the Monsanto-created seeds that are resistant to the herbicide glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup. But did you know that "Agent Orange Ready" corn and soybeans may be on their way to a supermarket near you?

Thanks to the utter failure of Roundup Ready products to live up to their environmentally-friendly and productive promises, Monsanto competitor Dow Chemical is developing crop seeds that can tolerate the damaging defoliant used in the Vietnam War...

http://www.opednews.com/articles/Would-Y...6-484.html

doomed

Says it's DOW, not Monsanto, but maybe a rule should be set that chemical companies cannot own a seed company, or more than one tv network.

Or Government.

State, County or Federal, only get to own one.

Monsanto has bought up nearly all the seed cleaning businesses and equipment, bought up a great deal of the seed dealers you and I depend on to start our gardens and holds sway over farmers with the constant threat of lawsuits in the U.S.

With that and the legislation recently passed concerning your rights to grow your own food, you have no idea how close they are from severing you from your ability to raise your own food.

Stay under the radar: learn about edible weeds; grow medicinal herbs;
grow high protein shrubs etc that aren't easily recognized as good food sources.

Don't they use corn in feul these days? GMO corn? And BP gas, of course. Our little consumer boycotts are a bit of a joke. chuckle

If they plant their GMO corn nationwide it will have the potential to cross pollinate with all other corn grown nearby. If your corn seed ends up with genetic material from Monsanto's corn they can (and have and will) sue you for copyright infringment. They do this all the time with soybean farmers.

Insidious.

I would think the opposite could also occur. If your crops are there first and get contaminated by GMO cross-pollenation, you should be able to sue Monsanto for twice or three times the amount they're suing you for, because your crops are "natural", not genetically-engineered. they contaminated your whole food crops with God knows what kind of genetic mutations. By planting their crops in conjunction with yours, they KNOWINGLY contaminated your crops.

Play their game...and don't forget to include all attorney's fees, and "pain and suffering". Maybe even get the EPA or soil conservation service involved or something.

You know, I always hold out hope that some 'David' will come to slay the giant 'Goliath' Monsanto someday, but for the rest of us to think we can take them on at their own game is rather foolhardy. They've destroyed plenty of farmers this way and they still do with impunity.

I know some people dislike or don't trust RT but the articale is worth a read regardless of your stance on RT.

Nothing wrong with RT,I watch it all day on USA satellite 97 west live
Buy a FTA receiver and dish on Ebay and you can too.
I get almost 250 FREE channels on it and its LEGAL! ,it will cost about $150. total one time for the equipment (receiver and dish) the Winegard 76cm dish works great and about any of the receivers will do the job.
