Multiple explosions in South Auckland
Nothing concrete for now, could just be a transformer failure given it's close the train station and parts out of power.

RE: Multiple explosions in South Auckland
Underground gas build up??

Gough was inspecting the Weymouth Rd rail overbridge along with Manurewa station officer Jeremy Hull when the blast came from under the footpath of the bridge.

Hull said there were "multiple explosions" after firefighters arrived at the scene.

Flames were first seen coming from the road way on the Weymouth Rd rail overbridge about 7.45am, eyewitness Chris Allatt said.

"I saw them and then soon after there were four explosions... a couple of them were quite impressive and loud."
