Was out earlier driving downtown in my local town, and saw an unusual sight. On a street near the center of town there is this "abandoned" factory that was once turned into a downtown shopping mall for a short period of time in the early 90's. Now it seems to be all empty with weeds growing everywhere and broken windows.

Anyways going by there today I saw a bus parked in one of the parking lots, I took notice of it because it was one of those older charter buses I wanna say from around the 1970's era. It Looked brand new, that really caught my attention.

Just took note of it and continued to go the grocery store. On the way back drove by the bus again, and happened to stop at a traffic light. I had the chance to roll down my window to have a closer look at it. I read the license plate on the front it read "U.S. Government" In light blue letters.

I thought to myself "What in the world is that Government bus just sitting here in the this old parking lot, with no one around?"

Many things went through my head of what could be going on. Then I remembered hearing a local news radio station several months back talking about the roundhouse and train station on the other side of town. They had mentioned that the Federal Government had bought a contract with some company from Las Vegas to rehab the roundhouse so the government could park and store "urban assault vehicles" there.

They also said on the radio that the contract with the roundhouse would be for "two years".

Then also in the same broadcast that day, they said that an old grocery store in town near the new courthouse had been bought by "FEMA" and being rehabbed into a "FEMA SUPPORT CENTER" I've seen people working on it for the last 8 weeks, I would say they about 40% finished. They also have 24 hour police guarding the construction zone.

Mind you I live near alot of Federal Government Buildings of operation in the area, I'm literally in the "BELLY OF THE BEAST" it just seems it's never ending. Everywhere I turn they are doing something alarming.

Once this bad weather passes I'll try to get some pictures and keep this thread updated as mush as possible.

well, you know why would they only sign a contract for 2 years?
Not expecting to be there long are they?
And the fact that Fema bought that local grocery store is even more proof.
We haven't seen anything like that near where i am at at the tri-state border.

no this is in West Virgina "Eastern Panhandle" This whole area it all becoming a big Federal zone. I name some areas I know of that are building built up I wanna say within a 40 mile radius.

Mt. Weather - Berryville, Va. (FEMA)

Harpers Ferry WV. Huge construction near the civil war battlefield including - (US Coast Guard) (US Border Patrol) (More FEMA) (Random DHS stff)

Near Charles Town WV. Don't know exactly where yet, but I've noticed at night "Training exercises of Drone planes over the Charles Town area"

Berkeley Heights WV. (Vets. Affairs Center) (I.R.S. Computer center) (U.S. Coast Guard) (DHS)

Martinsburg WV. Mentioned on first post (FEMA) (DHS) (More Coast Guard) (FBI/Swat field office) (Army Reserve) (Air National Guard) (Army National Guard) (Air force) (And some other Fed agencies I never heard of) I've also seen some other like "Private Armed contractors all over thew place see all the time at gas stations & Walmart.

ALSO A HUGE INCREASE OF POLICE PRESENT of LOCAL/COUNTY/STATE they about tripled in the last 3 years. Very odd for an area with only a population of maybe 120,000 in about a 3 county area.
