And as to your experience with poisoning vs. mine, I have an opening behind my stove and cabinetwork in my kitchen, and that's how they got in so fast and got out so fast after I put out the Warfarin. Different situations. The mice were starting to get into my bedroom before I poisoned them, but not so far as my bed. Near the end, they were so desperate for food that the young ones were crawling into my vacuum cleaner, and I managed to release a few outside because of that.

Thanks... it would be nice to have another rat someday. Not practical where I am now, and also I like pets that have longer lives, like my dog, going on 10 now and I hope to have four or five more years with her as she's a small breed. But maybe in the future. Here's to ratties Heartflowers
