I think this is major problem with the media pushing the young 20 somethings in every aspect of TV, movies, music, video games, etc.

A lot of men think that is the only thing that is acceptable for a companion, even as they age themselves.
So there end up being a lot of hurt women, kids, and even the men when they find out they cannot get the young hottie they think they deserve. Then they blame the young hotties and call them shallow because they don't want to the date them.

Too much "crazy making" for me.

I luv women around my age and older.

It's a little ironic considering these are the same women that put the hurt on me back then, but I think it takes us all a while to chill the f*ck out.

I mean seriously, I go into a room full of men my age and their women are unhappy and the men are just a bunch of puffed up fatties that ignore their wives and talk about professional sports. They stop dressing cool, they don't work out, their wives look miserable and the few that do take care of themselves are usually cheating on their wives with some 20 something cupcake from their job.

WTF is up with that?

heck, most of them *are* shallow
but they're easier to get
than you think.

it's getting rid of them that's the real problem.

I know some older men that left their wives and tried the younger woman route, but the young women didn't stay around long, they wanted to party and the men just wanted to sit on the couch watching sports and drinking at home. Those young girls need to be out getting attention. Both parties don't really think things through when they get into these types of relationships.

How old are you? I had a VW bus once. Drove it to Oregon for a Grateful Dead concert. It broke down on the way back home because I was doing 75 and apparently that is too fast for those buses haha.

Been to shows in Denver and Bonner Springs. Jerry was dead before I made it to Oregon and Washington.



I know two deadheads that broke down in New Mexico at different times and lived in a deadhead owned salvage yard for a few weeks while they patched them back together.

65-70 is about right for most of them.

Yeah, I don't think Jerry was alive when I saw them in Oregon. It was around '92 or '93. It's amazing how easy those VWs are to fix if you have what you need. I had a beetle too and would just replace the whole engine with a rebuilt for $300. That was back when gas was like 70 cents a gallon too. Late 80s. Good times! :D

I've ONLY been hit on or approached by much younger men since I became single last year, after 10 yrs of marriage. I actually am working on my self-respect though so I haven't slept with any of them though I'm sure it could be fun. Just not where I am at right now. Not at all interested in a relationship though either. I have two kids though so I have them to give my attention to.
