I think this is major problem with the media pushing the young 20 somethings in every aspect of TV, movies, music, video games, etc.

A lot of men think that is the only thing that is acceptable for a companion, even as they age themselves.
So there end up being a lot of hurt women, kids, and even the men when they find out they cannot get the young hottie they think they deserve. Then they blame the young hotties and call them shallow because they don't want to the date them.

I know some older men that left their wives and tried the younger woman route, but the young women didn't stay around long, they wanted to party and the men just wanted to sit on the couch watching sports and drinking at home. Those young girls need to be out getting attention. Both parties don't really think things through when they get into these types of relationships.

Yes, he blammoed the young hotties that came before me. He claims they had mental illness. LOL I believed him of course. I was not the trash caliber he had been going out with. I was respectable and decent and treated him like gold, so of course he treated me like total shit the last year. He will look back an mourn for sure becasuse he lost a woman who loved him just the way he was, fatness, faults and all. I have vastly more money than him, so no it had nothing to do with that at all. It was just him thinking with his dick and not realizing what a foolish mistake he is making. No, I won't take him back. He has caused too much damage to my son and my heart for that. I wouldn't trust him again. In fact, I'm not likely to ever date again until my son is grown and gone which is a long while yet.

WHat does that have to do with the topic of the thread. As for DV against men, men will always commit the VAST majority of cases. I have been a victim and so have a few of my friends. We never went to the police, so numbers are probably WAY off for men abusing women. Yes, women DO get arrested frequently, even for smacking a man's cheek, that's "Domestic Assault" by today's $tandard$. I also know a woman who got beaten to pulp by her husband and went into a coma and then died a week later. I have a family member who had to jump out of a car going 55 mph cuz her soon-to-be-ex was on his way take her somewhere to kill her. And this is just my personal experience, so while women-on-men violence does occur, it is in very small percentage and I disagree that women inflict more damage. I absolutely disagree with that. When I even tried to fight back, my ex, who was not even in a good shape or anything, beat the crap out of me. I had NO chance. So stop posting bullshit because you hate women.

I have a very overweight male friend who is in love with me but I told him he needs to be cool and not destroy the friendship because I have NO attraction to him. Well I didn't tell him that part, but he always says chicks don't like him because he's fat and short-ish, but he goes for hot women. I tell him to lower his standards and he says he can't. Well, he's 47 and alone and it looks like he will be forever with that shallowness. Yeah I am shallow too but I am attractive and fit. Big difference.
