Humans are born un-preprogrammed. They don't know what to think until properly programmed. Blame this on the parental units. Or possibly a defective child. Take them all in for analysis, stupid is often hereditary. Good luck, hope it's merely a software glitch and not a defective CPU.

At school they want to put him in with the 8 year old,s classroom as he is so bright,
He has already been moved in with 7 year old,s and is top of the class again but his mother wont let them move him up, as the 8 year old children are to big physically for him.
I might add he is very well loved, and i am constantly reminded of how much he loves me, so i hope some of you can see the lighter side of this playful fun.

Naivety can be cute in a child but eventually his peers will straighten him out.

He watches too much MSNBC. And he is probably more upset about what you did to Mr. Teddy... it is because he was brown huh?

Seriously, if the kid is that bright, you better review your tactics.....

possibly a better way to foster his empathy to not just teddyfications, is get really sad and tell him how you're life is ruined because you are now shoeless. The more convoluted and intricate the story the better chuckle

My mother was an expert at the woeful attack - the fear of disappointing someone is way bigger than fear of anger [or teddy torture :-) ]

RE: My friends six year old
And your kid seems pretty smart. He obviously knows Mr. Teddy does not have feelings. It is more about what mr. Teddy represents. You would know what he symbolizes more than anyone. Most likely, Mr. Teddy symbolizes unconditional love and something that would never hurt him... I was a very bright child (read at a 12th grade level in 2nd grade) and to a certain extent i treated my stuffed animals like animate objects.

Now I talk and cuddle with my shotgun.

But to this day I have a fondness for things that bring enjoyment and unconditional love without the possibility of those things hurting me, such as animals. a lot of times I like them more than grown humans.

Kinda interesting everyone assumed OP is a hetero dude.
Wasn't my first thought.

For 6 year old girls, this behavior is expected.

Yeah, good thing having someone riding "shotgun" with you. Especially nice is when they shoot "mystery tools" when necessary...and are cuddly, of coarse.

chuckle

His aunty used to tease him as a baby in very clever ways, an example, was satisfying his need for a bottle of milk, he would watch her prepare it, and she would make a big fuss over it, once ready it was never given directly to him, but placed just beyond his reach, which made him strive for it.
Now some four years later, he has this same striving to achieve drive that was instilled in his babyhood.

That's mean you are mean seriously why would you do that? You could have hurt Mr Teddy dude... what if you killed him? You would at least get First Degree Manslaughter, even if it was just an accident.

He assumes his teddy bear feels pain, so i positioned one of teddy,s legs in the toaster, and he screamed at the thought of it, so teddy was retracted away from the heat, the boy sighed relief, and relaxed, next though was the dirty dishwater in kitchen sink test, teddy was held upside down by one leg, and slowly lowered down towards a possible drowning in a murky puddle, he screamed at this point, and started crying, so teddy was pulled away from the sink, out of harms way, and into his grateful little hands.
He said to me i was naughty for putting teddy through such a hard time, but i could,nt stop laughing at his innocence, and empathy for a stuffed toy.

doomed you cruel man Tissue torturing the poor boy

Lets put s00n through the teddy test and laugh at those who have empathy for a biological machine.
