And he left a few Vicodon 750s in the bottle, and several tablets with G2 imprinted on them. (unless someone at the pharmacy did this switch aruond, and I doubt it)
What should I do? I have not confronted him on it yet - I just discovered it. I need those pain pills for a few weeks, and am beside myself.

I mistyped - the second type of pills in the container is marked G 21 - what is that?

Pill imprint G 21 has been identified as Gabapentin 600 mg.

Gabapentin is used in the treatment of anxiety; pain; restless legs syndrome; peripheral neuropathy; persisting pain, shingles (and more), and belongs to the drug class gamma-aminobutyric acid analogs.

I just discovered this before going to bed, now I can't sleep - I'm pissed and have an untrustworthy roommate, unless this happened at the pharmacy.

OP if this were my roommate and you have a valid prescription for that medication I would tie him to a chair cover him in cow manure and smash his teeth out with a ball peen hammer. But um...that's obviously not for everyone.

Where the hell would your roommate have gotten gabapentin? That's a prescription medication too.

I don't know how you'd deal with the pharmacy sorry [diff country etc].
With two different substances of similar strength- I don't think it's a mistake [like the breast cancer drug being given as fluoride tabs to kids

Also it seems gabapentin is also used for coping with withdrawal. I'm also assuming that these drugs are a lot cheaper than vicodin....

You need to keep your meds locked and your key with you at all times.

You should talk to him, but don't be confrontational. God knows what other kinds of drugs he could be taking.

You should also work on getting the hell out of there. He's probably doing a lot more nasty stuff outside the home. You don't want to be there when the cops finally show up to arrest his ass; they just might want to take you along.

I'd ask at the pharmacy first, mate. Pointless jumping the gun before you have the facts. Just politely explain the situation and find out how it would be possible. If the pharmacist is sure it could not have been a mix up in house, then it's time to confront your room mate. I'd have someone else there at the time; if the guy's capable of switching your meds, then he's capable of who knows what!
