Well, it was not some MK Ultra thing; of that I am sure. What I think those words meant was that I was allowed to continue in life to try to miitigate my own vices and maybe even the vices of others, and have the capacity to do so through direct action, if I so choose.
Thing is, I'm probably not doing the greatest job of this right now. I still have plenty of vices, and came through the whole experience as a quite normal human being, with all the normal faults!
(BTW, it was "mitigating agent for vice", not of vice. Big difference!)

Oh, it gave me goosebumps, I can tell you. This really happened; no dream. The hairs on my arm actually formed my words from the opening paragraph of that cursive opening page of my book I posted (Even a little rat does his best to understand, etc.).
You see, we are not the highest form of intelligence, and they were showing me they could control/manipulate my magnetic field itself. It was creepy, but loving and moving as well. Never has happened again, of course. These things are a once-in-a-lifetime revelation.
Yes they can control the magnetic field and they also use our electrical currents to travel and communicate...meaning a common household bulb is and can be a portal. I absolutely believe you friend, that is not even a question.
You seem to understand. They even mentioned bulbs! The Singularity itself (Capitalized!) is the moment of time (big bang) when all time began, but they did say about lightbulbs "we call such things in your world singularities."

That is how they set up shop here. Meaning in this room I am typing from. Through the light. Quite literally, through the light.

Ha! They wanted me to cut down on mine, and become a pipe smoker instead! Some of this stuff was very profound, and some mundane.

Highly novel, they always insert the mundane.

They said if I ever wanted to contact them, I can do so by staring at a bulb. I generally prefer not to these days. They have taught me all I need to know for now, and I am happy to be an ordinary man again!

Of course, they are souls in higher dimensions than us. Don't want to scare the little people (only the evil ones are going to try to wow you with constant "revelations.")
They did tell me at one point that some of my "connections" were getting a bit too close to the truth, and had to test me a bit to see if I could handle that kind of knowledge, and there is some pretty weird stuff. Multiple dimensions/timelines, the higher you get dimensionally, the more all time becomes "as one" as it was at the moment of the Singularity, but only God actually experiences all time as a single moment. Believe me, at this point in my soul's development, I am happy that time (at least seems) plain vanilla linear!
You know, we aren't really "here" in the purest sense at all. The brain is a translator, not the source of consciousness. I may be saying too much now, and if so, I'm sure I'll be "reminded" of that fact when I finally get some sleep...
Gently, though. My contacts, apart from the one fallen one I actually did meet up with, have never tried to hurt me in any way.

TEll me, did you hear a screeching sound during any of this, like a car peeling off on wet pavement?

Absolutely nothing like that. There were some unpleasant sounds and sensations when my curiosity caused me to venture a bit too far towards the "darker side," but my good guides proved the stronger in the end. All of this happened in my head, in my apartment, except for one weird episode where I seemed to meet my dead grandfather, and we sparred in a bit of Wing Chun-like martial arts. I have very limited experience in that area, just some informal lessons from a couple guys, and this was just simple forearm-to-forearm stuff. Ever since then, I seem to have developed some pretty fast reflexes and fast hands, but never really wanted to explore the fighting arts seriously. I think if I had to, I could surprise someone more or less my own size with a rather good pop, but I have never had to fight, thank God.
There were no vehicles, black vans, or flying saucers in the whole episode, wet pavement or otherwise!

The screeching sound has nothing to do with any government stuff, vehicles or any type of the thing like that.

RE: NDEs, Songs & Poems, Garbled Nonsense.
I'll have to get some sleep before church, so will take this up again in the morning!
As to my actual religious practice, I'm a very liberal and mundane Episcopal. There are greater mysteries out there, but I like to just worship the light in this "Catholic Lite" denomination (as Robin Williams called it!) and my favorite religious experience is singing as our choir's main tenor soloist every Sunday. I've had solos the past two Sundays, and George might even pull one on me tomorrow, so I need to "mitigate" this viceful staying up too late and smoking cigarettes, just in case!

I think I know what you're getting at. I don't remember any particular screeching sound; I know there were unpleasant sounds involved at some points, but I will be the first to admit that, though I remember quite a bit, my memory of all the details is imperfect!
Be well, my friend, and good night!
