I think the thing is that they 'modified' the maize crop with Bt genes.

Somehow, the bugs to became resistant to not only this genetically modified crop, but the original 'organic' spray too.

Dow Chemical is also a big player in this game.

Just going to take a wild stab at this one, please correct me if I am wrong...

DOW manufactures agent orange, and DDT?

Interesting. I had to look it up.

Oh, wow, that's some forum gold right thar.

Makes you kinda wonder what corporations are flying under the radar when all the attention is focused on Monsanto.

What was the first art?

My guess would be prestidigitation.

Farming and prostitution are rote services.

Under the flag of potential starvation, virtually anything could be overlooked.

Quite so. Redirection, sleight of hand. Some just call it smoke and mirrors.

Avoidance of starvation is so primal, like the urge to procreate. Bastards really know how to pull our strings.

Reminds me of a quote from "The Hellstrom Chronicle", an old mock-documentary from the 1970s about insects (and a damn good movie too, shame it's not on DVD/BluRay)...

"In fighting the insect we have polluted our water, poisoned our wildlife, permeated our own flesh with deadly toxins. The insect becomes immune, while we are poisoned. In fighting with superior intellect, we have outsmarted ourselves."

That one is ripe for a modern remake. They could call it "The Hellsanto Chronicle".

BTW, DVS and Br are available at Amazon.

Interesting bit of trivia, it won an Oscar in 1972 for best Documentary even though it was promoted as a SciFi thriller.

I hope all the bugs and worms of the world march on Monsanto offices completely covering them, invading the air ducts, and make like a Hitchcock movie.

I will be so pumped when giant sinkholes open up underneath all Monsanto plants & offices, worldwide. Swallowing the shit out of those losers and hopefully taking the entire operation down into a magma chamber.

I will party for WEEKS.
