Reminds me of a quote from "The Hellstrom Chronicle", an old mock-documentary from the 1970s about insects (and a damn good movie too, shame it's not on DVD/BluRay)...

That one is ripe for a modern remake. They could call it "The Hellsanto Chronicle".

Interesting bit of trivia, it won an Oscar in 1972 for best Documentary even though it was promoted as a SciFi thriller.
