Need clothing advice for the coming apocolypse.

I think we can all agree that doom may be as near as a fortnight away. It's time to gets serious about things. Real serious. I am taking inventory of my supplies, and noted that I may need more robust clothing to survive amidst the mayhem and chaos that is fixin to ensue.

My question is: Who makes the best tactical clothing?

Is something like this appropriate?

You need some good, heavy duty selvage jeans, Wesco Logging Boots, Thorlo Socks and a Filson Canvas Shirt.

People who live and work outside their whole lives dress like that.

"Tactical" Rambo crap will only make you a target.

Hit the thrift stores in your area. They usually have alot of military clothing there at a cheap price. Use the money you save and buy more food.

Are the pants I am looking at sufficiently loose?

Yes, a nice blouse or sweater and you are all set to go.

Those pants are consumer grade crap! I have worn them as part of a work uniform.

Buy some Kevlar/Nomex "Advance" Crewboss pants if you insist on buying something with cargo pockets in a militaristic color.

Don't buy tactical or police pants. You will be a target.

Not good. Go gray.
