?? Any large spherical body close to the earth should have the same 'phase' and aspect as the moon, unless it is very close to the earth, and hence, much smaller than the moon.

I think the first thing going across was the sun,the second is the moon. Just how it appears to me.

The Sun never rose if you note the reddish sky of the dawn in the clip. The Moon followed the Sunrise.

If you have an Android tablet or phone I recommend the Sun Surveyor app. This quickly shows the position of the Sun and Moon in a 3D format. That large celestial object should not be there.

The moon is nearing full-phase tonight, so since the moon phase is the same world over, a first-day waxing crescent moon would be impossible to see at the bottom of the world. [Image: 6BB8_4FF11EF9.jpg]

Either these images are faked, or some type of aperature artifact (lens flare, but it doesn't appear to be one to me) or a large spherical object is so close to the atmosphere that it's shadowed face is showing only a tiny crescent.

Neumayer?

So a while back, I walk in to this resurant that I frequent, and am seated by the hostess. It is unusually packed for the night. Really busy, and the waitress comes up to the table as usual and is dressed like the lady in the video below. I am surprised, and laughingly say "you're a cat". To wich she replies "yes I am, me and my sister are both cats". I am puzzeled for a moment, and then realize that it is Halloween. She recieved a good sized tip :-)
