Never forget...
Bring my brothers and sisters home NOW...end these senseless, manufactured, corrupt wars...these are campaigns of death, destruction and misery all to line the eliteist pockets, privatize the Military Industrial Complex, expansion of their greed, power, and control, oil, minerals, Heroin, religious warfare, etc etc...I could go on but you get the point...if you demand for our troops to come home now and refuse to go a day without trying to keep this crucial issue in the forefront (since the sheep are more concerned about the Kardashians, IPhones, Facebook and the thousands of other ways the government controls the media and the masses) then please keep this thread going...bump, comment or tell me I'm an idiot...never forget...bring my brothers + sisters in arms home...say a prayer if you're spiritual, regardless of religion, for the safety and welfare of our troops, our allies who blindly follow us in our illegal wars, and the countless civilians that are affected by these atrocities. Thank you

What? Our military has too much experiance...mandatory, rapid redeployments...they're creating a monster, every 18 mins a veteran commits suicide...the war is never over for those who have experianced it, you will never be the same and you will have a hard time being anything in life but a soldier...in the Civil War they called it Soldier's Heart, WWI it was known as combat fatigue, WWII they called it shell shock, now they call it PTSD, but to me Soldiers Heart (and mind) is the burden we carry

Troll much...it's sad when the front page of LOP has threads about "hot" chicks, bad words, camping, biblical marriage advice, it's basically a social networking site...and not one person responds other then someone trying to f*ck with me...sad, I'm disappointed LOP, lots of sheep on the forum today

RE: Never forget...
ok
what about in 20 years ??
in 20 years there would be pretty much zero experienced soldiers left in the US military
would the lack of experienced soldiers in the future be a concern ??

WTF?
Are you advocating war just so that our troops have 'experience'?
I realize that experience in the military is a good thing, but it is no reason why we need war all the time... that is preposterous. You do realize that in wars people kill each other, right? It is not to be taken lightly.
The only wars I support are to defend America from invasion. We havent had any threats to America since 1812...(or the Civil War if you account for foreign governments funding different sides)

RE: Never forget...
Remember this is a volunteer military. The fastest way to end the wars would be non-compliance.
They could try to re-institute the draft but that would get ugly fast...
There's one for ya!

RE: Never forget...
Apologize for getting testy and assuming you were just pushing buttons...now that you've got to the point, it is a valid question. I personally don't believe it would matter, let's break it down...even if the majority of the military was seasoned combat vets like we currently are, the SF guys (D-Boys, Green Berets, Rangers, Navy Seals, Marine Force Recon, Air Force PJs, 160th SOAR) will always have extremely proficeint bad motherfuckers because they will have high op tempo, black ops, constant deployments even if we aren't at "war". They're mostly made up of "lifers" who are the best of the best in the world. War has evolved through time and it seems to be more proficeint to use small groups, teams of SF type and unmanned drones from above to wage war. We have the best of the best and always will when it comes to that. As far as the majority of the military, I don't believe it would make that much difference. WWI + WWII had hundreds of thousands of 18 yo FNGs that got a quick tutorial on the job or unfortunatly didn't make it home. Same with Vietnam...and what threats would we have that have more experianced troops?? Iran isn't at war, neither is China, N Korea, etc and it doesn't matter how experianced your forces are when bombs and WMDs are flying in your air space. So long story short, we'd be fine...bring the troops home, secure our borders
