We got a billion dollars from AIG too before it went down in flames.

You know, payolla to Kaine.....

but, what's your point?

He is a registard member posting a flood of an opposing viewpoint.

His heart, soul and words have been corrupted by an evil, and you can see it impotently flailing in its posts above.

OUT THEM, we struggle for our lives and daily living, they leach theirs by attempting to push an aganda unseen by many on the front of these pages.

And yet that member posting as an AC would dare call me not a Virginian!?!?

Yet this 'non'-Virginian as he choses to call me as he follows me about only rearing his head in impotent refutation of my posts every few weeks; this non-Virginian personally, removed $500,000 in line items from the contracts some state agencies use with data systems vendors and moved the maintenance in house the past two years--a direct savings to our citizens.

Now attack me for that if you like, you have devalued your words here so it really doesn't matter what you say.

But I do ask you one thing--What have you done to make this commonwealth a better place for its citizens to live, what savings to them have you provided and with an increase in delivered services to the citizens since you so loudly protest virginia's unacceptance of NDAA? Please tell us.

Or please PM me and keep the stench of your thread derailment off of the board.

Your handlers did not get a bargain when they hired you.

The point being made is not to discredit or distract from Virginia's decision but to point out the hypocrisy of the state government it's self. Embracing fascism from Washington DC is one matter but ignoring the alleged fascism from Richmond while resisting the alleged fascism from DC is imo hypocritical. Now about these state laws that are totalitarian...and possibly unconstitutional..Virginia we stomp all tyrants, as long as it's not our own tyranny. It's also funny that enforcement of this "law" would probably be declared unconstitutional in it's self. What a tangled web is weaved.

perhaps you should look up the word and educate yourself on what fascism is and quit believing shit that the GOP makes up just to stir the pot.

y'know, McCain lost the election the night that poor old woman about had a stroke at one of his campaign stops - and McCain had to admit that Obama was a good man and not the boogey man that the media and his own party had created

ACLU asks Virginia State Police to stop "shoulder surfing"
"Richmond, VA – The American Civil Liberties Union of Virginia today warned the Virginia State Police that it may be violating federal law as well as the U.S. Constitution by requiring applicants to sign on to their Facebook and Twitter accounts so that job interviewers can read their private communications.

Known as “shoulder surfing,” the practice of forcing job applicants to reveal their private communications to employers is facing intense public criticism and legal scrutiny.
In Maryland, the Department of Corrections revised its shoulder surfing policies after the ACLU complained.

In a letter faxed earlier today to Virginia State Police Superintendent W. Steven Flaherty, ACLU of Virginia Legal Director Rebecca K. Glenberg asks that the practice be discontinued. "

As much as I respect you as a poster on this forum I will not be silent on issues in my home state. "Look boogeyman" while another boogeyman is right here in the state taking away the rights on anyone not heterosexual, white, male and christian. Not to mention taking private property from citizens and giving to big business, vaginal probes, denying citizens the right to assemble and limiting the free speech of gov. employees.

Virginia- Where school teachers and other public servants including Police haven't seen a cost of living raise in nearly a decade while the state administration dipped in to a retirement fund, nearly bankrupting it then declared a crisis in the VRS to justify cutting pay and benefits.

This is true

Many of us are working without benefit of even a cost of living increase based upon meritorious service for over five years now.

And truly a shame for public and government employees both,

just wishing to live

just wishing to be free

just wishing to live their lives

clearly this is a touchy subject with the emotion and even attempts at derailment ongoing

do not let it die, keep it bumped and allow the derailer and the Taint of Shills that had infected this thread be outed

fwiw i am on my lunch break and not about to be sucked into expending it in such a useless fashion. Heartflowers

I can provide references to every other post, it was all off the top of my head. I'm sure we can find more. It's not hard to dig for dirt in a landfill.
Enjoy your break. Cheers

And the politics of the game suck!

Do you not realize that the actual workers,

the people keeping it running,

the people providing services

the people making a difference in lives

are themselves just as much a victim of onerous laws as you and the other citizens?

good on you, you got a reply out me

but i won't change post #2

and i have more to recognize you by next time

my lunch is over but not the fire in my chest for every step, however small it may be, that we take toward taking back our country!

The GOP constantly points the finger at the one in the White House while they did not one grand glorious thing to stop the thief that was there previously
So making every single thing that is wrong with the system in the US, a problem that the current administration did/does is just preposterous and ignorant. If your STATE is doing something inappropriate, then perhaps your weak Governor and state congress has something to do with it. If your SHERIFF is allowing these illegal procedures to happen then friggin replace him/her!
Calling the POTUS a fascist because it's the bad oogidy boogity word that everyone thinks they know what it means, is ignorant. And if you really want to go there, take a look at Daddy Busssh's history. Conspiracy or not, he is the gatekeeper for your Nazi/Fascist core in this country - and oh yeah, he just gave the nod to the most detached candidate running. I'm sure Rmoney is gonna make sure the agenda is followed to the letter.
