You are always going to be the best when you practice with the least assisted setup. If in a survival situation or shtf, and your optics fail, or you have to get a new glock for some reason it's not going to have your "special sights".

This will end up putting you at a disadvantage in the end. But that's just my 2 cents, and I try to go stock.
